Clara Luz Flores

Clara Luz Flores Carrales is a Mexican politician and lawyer currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. Born in Monclova, Coahuila, she previously served as the municipal president of General Escobedo for three terms between 2009 and 2020. A former long-time member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), she resigned in 2020 and later joined the National Regeneration Movement (Morena). In 2021, she was the Morena candidate for the governorship of Nuevo León. Her career has been marked by significant local administrative experience and involvement in national political debates.
