Claudette Buttigieg

Claudette Buttigieg is a Maltese politician and member of parliament who currently serves as a Member of the House of Representatives and Deputy Speaker. Born in Naxxar, she initially gained public recognition as a prominent television presenter and singer, representing Malta in the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest with the song 'Desire'. Entering politics with the Nationalist Party, she was first elected to the Maltese parliament in 2013, later serving as shadow minister for health and securing re-election in subsequent general elections.
