Jonathan Attard

Jonathan Attard is a Maltese lawyer and politician serving as Malta's Minister for Planning, Infrastructure and Employment. A former journalist and legal professional specializing in civil and public law, he was first co-opted to Parliament in July 2021 before being elected to the House of Representatives in the 2022 and 2026 General Elections. During his political career, he has held ministerial responsibilities including Minister for Justice and Reform of the Construction Sector, overseeing notable legislative initiatives such as the introduction of the femicide law and family court reforms.
