Claudia Alfons is a German politician and lawyer who has served as the Lord Mayor of the city of Lindau (Bodensee) since May 2020. An independent politician, she was elected in 2020 with the support of the Lindau Initiative, the Citizens' Union, and the FDP, and was subsequently re-elected in 2026. Prior to her political career, she worked as a lawyer, a judge at the Augsburg District Court, a public prosecutor in Munich, and a consultant for the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection. She holds a doctorate in law and has extensive experience in international economic law.
