Claudia Tello Espinosa

Claudia Tello Espinosa is a Mexican politician and educator who served as a member of both chambers of the Mexican Congress. A sociologist by training, she spent over two decades working as a secondary school teacher and was an active member of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE). She joined the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) in 2013 and subsequently served as a federal deputy for Veracruz's 8th district from 2018 to 2024. In 2024, she was elected to the Senate of the Republic, though she later stepped down to lead the Veracruz state education department.
