Clement Abas Apaak

Clement Abas Apaak is a Ghanaian politician and academic serving as the Member of Parliament for the Builsa South Constituency in the Upper East Region. A member of the National Democratic Congress, he holds significant roles within the legislature, including serving as a deputy ranking member on the Education Committee and as a member of the Public Accounts Committee. Dr. Apaak possesses an extensive academic background, including a PhD in archaeology from Simon Fraser University in Canada, an M.Phil. from the University of Bergen, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana. Throughout his political career, he has been a vocal critic of legislation he deems irrelevant, such as the Public University Bill, and continues to advocate for educational policy reform in Ghana.
