Colleen Egan is an Australian politician and former investigative journalist who serves as a member of the Western Australian Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Thornlie. Elected in 2025, she previously worked as the Chief of Staff for Western Australian Attorney-General John Quigley from 2017 to 2023. Egan gained national recognition for her investigative work, most notably for her role in exposing the wrongful conviction of Andrew Mallard, an achievement for which she received a Walkley Award in 2006.
