Consuelo Hernandez

Consuelo Hernandez is an American politician serving as a member of the Arizona House of Representatives for District 21, having been elected in 2022. Raised in Pima County, Arizona, she holds a bachelor's degree in global health from Arizona State University and a master's in legal studies from the University of Arizona. In addition to her legislative role, she serves as president of the Sunnyside Unified School District. Hernandez is of Mexican-Jewish descent and is known for her involvement in state legislative debates, including her vote to override a gubernatorial veto on the 'Tamale Bill' in 2023.
