Consuelo Veloso

Consuelo Veloso is a Chilean politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 18th District. Born in Cauquenes, she began her career as a student leader and social activist, notably founding the organization Un Sueño Mayor to advocate for the rights of older persons. Formerly a member of the Democratic Revolution party, she transitioned to independent status in 2023. Throughout her career, she has focused on social and environmental issues, including disaster relief and constitutional reform advocacy.
