Corneliu Negru

Corneliu Negru is a Romanian jurist and politician currently serving as a member of the Senate of Romania, representing Vrancea County. Elected in December 2024 as a candidate for the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), he holds positions as secretary of the Committee for Constitutionality and as a member of the Committee for Labor, Family, and Social Protection. Prior to his election to the national parliament, Negru served as a county councilor in Vrancea, holding mandates between 2008 and 2016 while affiliated with the Democratic Liberal Party and the National Liberal Party.
