Coronel Meira

Luiz de França e Silva Meira, better known as Coronel Meira, is a Brazilian military police officer and politician currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Pernambuco. Affiliated with the Liberal Party (PL), he was elected to the federal legislature in 2022 with 78,941 votes. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on public security and combatting organized crime, serving on various committees including the Committee on Public Security and Combating Organized Crime.
