Mauricio do Vôlei

Mauricio Luiz de Souza, widely known as Mauricio do Vôlei, is a Brazilian politician and former professional volleyball player currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Minas Gerais. A member of the Liberal Party, he has focused his legislative work on sports policy, including serving as the president of the Special Commission for the Sports Incentive Law. Before entering politics, he achieved international recognition as a successful athlete, and he now leverages his background to advocate for sports development and public health initiatives in his home state.
