Cottie Petrie-Norris

Cottie Petrie-Norris is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly, representing the 73rd district. First elected in 2018 to represent the 74th district, she has since secured multiple re-elections, including a victory in the newly drawn 73rd district in 2022. Before entering the state legislature, she worked as a small business owner and served on the Housing and Human Services Committee in Laguna Beach. In the Assembly, she currently serves as the Chair of the Utilities and Energy Committee, focusing on legislative efforts related to energy policy and infrastructure.
