Craig Staats is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 145th House district in Bucks County. First elected in 2014 after defeating Karen Chellew, he previously served as a Richland Township Supervisor from 2006 to 2014. Within the legislature, Staats has held leadership roles such as Marketing Chair of the Liquor Control Committee and has served on the Education, Finance, and State Government committees. A member of the Republican Party, he has been a vocal critic of Governor Tom Wolf and advocated for the reopening of businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
