Darrell Issa

Darrell Issa is an American politician and businessman currently serving as the U.S. Representative for California's 48th congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, he previously represented California's 50th and 49th districts and served as the chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee from 2011 to 2015. Before his long tenure in Congress, Issa was a successful entrepreneur, co-founding Directed Electronics, a prominent manufacturer of automotive security systems. Throughout his career, he has been known for his focus on government oversight and business-oriented policy initiatives.
