Cristián Menchaca

Cristián Menchaca Pinochet is a Chilean politician and farmer currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the 18th District. Born in Linares in 1963, he has a long history of local governance, having served as a councillor and four-term mayor of Longaví between 1996 and 2024. In 2013, he was elected as a regional councillor for the Maule Region. In November 2025, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies as an independent candidate on a Republican Party quota, focusing on local development and regional issues in southern Maule.
