Cristian Vântu is a Romanian politician and physician serving as a member of the Senate of Romania since December 2024. A graduate of the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Târgu Mureș, he spent 12 years practicing medicine in the United Kingdom before returning to Romania in 2021. In the Senate, he serves as vice-president of the Committee for Health and is a member of the Committee for European Affairs. Vântu, who identifies as a Christian, is also an internationally recognized judge for dog breeds.
