Cyndi Munson is an American politician serving as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives for the 85th district since 2015. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as the minority leader of the Oklahoma House since 2022 and is the first Asian American woman to serve in the Oklahoma State Legislature. Before her political career, she worked in the nonprofit sector, including roles with the Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma. In 2026, she became the Democratic nominee for Governor of Oklahoma, campaigning on platforms of increased public school funding, healthcare expansion, and the repeal of the state's abortion ban.
