Cynthia López Castro is a Mexican politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic representing Mexico City. Previously, she served as a federal deputy in the 64th and 65th Congresses and as a member of the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District. Throughout her career, she has focused on youth advocacy, including initiatives to lower the minimum age for political candidacy and promoting youth quotas. After a long tenure with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), she joined the National Regeneration Movement (MORENA) in 2024.
