D. K. Shivakumar

D. K. Shivakumar is an Indian politician and businessman serving as the 18th Chief Minister of Karnataka since June 2026. A prominent leader of the Indian National Congress, he previously served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and as the President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee. Known for his strategic role in managing party affairs and securing legislative support, he has represented the Kanakapura constituency in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly since 2008. Throughout his career, he has been recognized as a key strategist for the Congress party in Karnataka.
