Daiana Santos is a Brazilian politician and public health specialist currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies for the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Born in Júlio de Castilhos, she moved to Porto Alegre at a young age and later became the first openly lesbian councillor elected to the Porto Alegre Municipal Council in 2020. Elected to the federal Chamber of Deputies in 2022, she focuses on human rights, racial equality, and public health, notably serving as the first LGBT parliamentarian to chair a committee in the Chamber.
