Daichi Yamamoto is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Wakayama 1st district. Born in 1991, he graduated from Kansai University and previously worked at Kiyo Bank. Before his election to the national legislature, he served as a public secretary to lawmakers Hirofumi Kado and Yosuke Tsuruho, and held a seat on the Wakayama City Council for two terms. Yamamoto is a former reserve member of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in the 50th general election in 2024 and secured re-election in 2026.
