Ken Hirose

Ken Hirose is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Oita 2nd District. After graduating from Sophia University, he spent over two decades working for Kobe Steel, where he managed international plant development projects across more than 40 countries. He entered politics in 2024, winning his first term as an independent before joining the Liberal Democratic Party in 2025. He currently serves as the Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Politically, he supports constitutional reform, the exercise of the right to collective self-defense, and the introduction of selective separate surnames for married couples.
