Molefi David "Dakota" Legoete is a South African politician and strategist currently serving as a Member of the National Assembly. Elected in the May 2024 general election, he chairs the Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans. Previously, he served as the ANC Provincial Secretary for the North West from 2013 to 2017 and held various roles at the party's Luthuli House headquarters, including deputy head of the organising department. He has been a member of the ANC National Executive Committee since 2017.
