Dale Last is an Australian politician who has served as the Member for Burdekin in the Queensland Legislative Assembly since 2015. In November 2024, he was appointed as the Queensland Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and for Regional and Rural Development. Before entering state politics, Last had a career as a police officer and served as a councillor and Deputy Mayor for the City of Townsville. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Central Queensland University and was awarded the National Police Medal in 1998.
