Dambyn Batlut is a Mongolian politician currently serving as the Minister of Defense of Mongolia and as a member of the State Great Khural. After working as an electrical engineer and in the non-profit sector with World Vision, he entered public service in Orkhon Province, eventually serving as its Governor and as the Mayor of Erdenet City from 2016 to 2020. Since his election to the national parliament in 2020, he has focused on human development and social policy, later assuming his cabinet role in 2025.
