A long-time resident of Gloucester Township, he previously served five terms on the Gloucester Township Council. Hutchison is a Certified Public Accountant and an attorney who earned his law degree from Widener University Delaware Law School. Before his current tenure in the state legislature, he was the Republican nominee for New Jersey's 1st Congressional District in 2004.
