Dan Tanasă is a Romanian politician and journalist who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2020. Representing the Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), he is known for his nationalist rhetoric and focus on the rights of Romanians in the Szekler Land. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous legal and public campaigns regarding the use of Hungarian symbols and language in public spaces. Before his election to parliament, he was active as a blogger and served as the president of the Conservative Party's organization in Spain. He holds a degree in psychology and education from the University of Bucharest and a master's degree from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration.
