Daniël Wigboldus is a Dutch politician and former academic who currently serves as the King's Commissioner in the province of Gelderland, having assumed office on March 19, 2025. Prior to his political career, he was a distinguished professor of social psychology and served as the president of the executive board of Radboud University Nijmegen from 2017 to 2025. His academic research focused on person perception, stereotypes, and prejudice. In recognition of his contributions to academia and society, he was appointed an Officer in the Order of Orange-Nassau in 2025.
