Daniya Yespayeva is a Kazakhstani politician currently serving as the Deputy Chair of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. A long-time member of the Ak Zhol Democratic Party, she has served as a deputy in the Majilis since 2016. Before her parliamentary career, she worked extensively in the banking and finance sector, holding leadership positions at BTA Bank and Kazkommertsbank. In 2019, she made history as the first woman to run for President of Kazakhstan. She has been recognized for her contributions to public service with several state awards, including the Order of Barys.
