Azat Peruashev is a Kazakhstani politician and public figure who has served as a member of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan since 2012. He has led the Ak Zhol Democratic Party since 2011 and previously held significant roles in the Civil Party of Kazakhstan and the Atameken National Economic Chamber. A political scientist and economist by training, Peruashev has authored numerous publications on political institutionalization and economic policy.
