Daniel Garwe

Daniel Garwe is a Zimbabwean politician currently serving as the Minister of Local Government and Public Works. First elected to the National Assembly in 2018 to represent the Murehwa North constituency, he previously served as the Minister of National Housing and Social Amenities starting in 2019. In his ministerial roles, Garwe has focused on public-private partnerships to address housing shortages and infrastructure development. Before entering politics, he was a prominent figure in the construction industry and held ownership roles in several private enterprises.
