Obert Mpofu

Obert Mpofu is a Zimbabwean politician and senior member of the ZANU-PF party, currently serving as the party's Secretary for Information Communication Technology (ICT). Born in October 1951 in Matabeleland North Province, he has had a long and prominent career in government, having held multiple cabinet portfolios including Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Development, and Minister of Industry and International Trade. In addition to his extensive ministerial experience, he has served in various parliamentary and party leadership positions over several decades.
