Daniel Goughnour is an American politician serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 35th district. A lifelong resident of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he previously spent 16 years with the McKeesport Police Department, where he served as a detective for juvenile crimes and chief of detectives. Before his election to the state legislature in a March 2025 special election, he served on the McKeesport Area School District school board and was active as a youth sports coach. Goughnour assumed office in April 2025, succeeding the late Matthew Gergely.
