Daniel J. Hunt is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 13th Suffolk district. Born and raised in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, he holds a degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. Before his election in 2014, he worked as a chief of staff for Representative Daniel E. Bosley and as a director of governmental affairs for the state Department of Conservation and Recreation. During his legislative tenure, he has served as the chairperson of the Joint Committee on Election Laws for the 2025-26 session.
