Daniel Rapp is a German politician and the Lord Mayor of Ravensburg, a position he has held since 2010. Born in Erlangen in 1972, he studied law at the University of Tübingen and previously served as the Mayor of Sigmaringen from 2006 to 2010. During his tenure in Ravensburg, he has focused on fiscal consolidation, urban development, and the expansion of social and educational infrastructure. In 2018, he gained national attention for intervening to stop a knife attacker in the city center. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
