Daniel Ruch

Daniel Ruch is a Swiss politician serving as a member of the National Council since 2022. Born in Lausanne, he began his career as a professional lumberjack and founded a forestry company in 1984. His political career began at the local level in Corcelles-le-Jorat, where he served as mayor. He later represented the canton of Vaud in the Grand Council from 2012 to 2023. As a federal parliamentarian, he has served on the Political Institutions Committee and the Control Committee, focusing on regional representation and social policy.
