Daniel Wesener is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin. A member of Alliance 90/The Greens since 2001, he previously served as the party's state chairman in Berlin from 2011 to 2017 and held the position of Senator for Finance of the State of Berlin from 2021 to 2023. Known as a representative of the party's left wing, Wesener has focused his political career on cultural, budgetary, and financial policy. He has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since 2016, with a brief interruption during his tenure as a senator.
