Daniela Carneiro

Daniela Moté de Souza Carneiro, also known as Daniela do Waguinho, is a Brazilian politician and pedagogue currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. She previously served as the Minister of Tourism in the third Lula administration from January to July 2023. Before her national ministerial role, she held positions in the municipal secretariats of education and social assistance in Rio de Janeiro and Belford Roxo. A graduate in pedagogy with a specialization in psychomotricity, she has been a prominent political figure in Rio de Janeiro, consistently securing high vote counts in state elections.
