Hugo Motta is a Brazilian physician and politician currently serving as the President of the Chamber of Deputies of Brazil. Born in João Pessoa, he comes from a prominent political family in Paraíba. He made history in 2010 by becoming the youngest federal deputy ever elected in Brazil at the age of 21. Throughout his legislative career, he has been a key figure in the Chamber, notably chairing the Petrobras parliamentary inquiry committee in 2015 and maintaining significant influence within the 'centrão' political bloc.
