Marcelo Crivella

Marcelo Crivella is a Brazilian politician, Evangelical pastor, and gospel singer currently serving as a member of the Chamber of Deputies. A bishop of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, he previously served as the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro from 2017 to 2020 and as a federal Senator for the state of Rio de Janeiro from 2003 to 2017. A civil engineer by training, Crivella is known for his conservative political stances, including opposition to abortion and support for traditional family policies.
