Danny Donnelly is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for East Antrim since May 2022. He began his political career with the Green Party NI before joining the Alliance Party, where he successfully contested a seat on the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council in 2019. Donnelly has been a prominent candidate for the Alliance Party in East Antrim, notably increasing the party's vote share in multiple general elections and securing his assembly seat by defeating the incumbent UUP candidate in 2022.
