Dariush Hassanpour

Dariush Hassanpour is a German politician and a member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, representing the party Die Linke (The Left). Born in Hamburg in 1996, he became politically active through his volunteer work with refugees in Norderstedt. He has been a member of Die Linke since 2013 and previously served in the Norderstedt city council. Since his election to the Bremen state parliament in 2023, he has focused on youth, education, digitalization, and media policy. Additionally, he is a state spokesperson for the youth wing of his party in Bremen and co-hosts a political podcast.
