Nam Duy Nguyen

Nam Duy Nguyen is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Saxony, representing the Leipzig 1 constituency since 2024. Born in 1996 in Dresden to Vietnamese parents, he holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in sociology. Before his election, he worked for an educational association and was active in the Socialist-Democratic Student Association. Nguyen gained national attention for his grassroots campaign strategy, which involved thousands of door-to-door conversations, and for his commitment to donating a significant portion of his parliamentary salary to social projects. His political platform focuses on class-based policies, anti-racism, affordable living costs, and improved public transportation.
