A long-time member of the Law and Justice party, he previously served as the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship and held the position of Minister of National Education from 2019 to 2020. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in educational policy and regional administration in the Podlaskie region, having also served as a deputy minister in the Ministry of Education and Science.
