David Bexte

David Bexte is a Canadian politician serving as the Member of Parliament for the electoral district of Bow River. Elected in the 2025 Canadian federal election as a member of the Conservative Party of Canada, he has focused his legislative efforts on agricultural policy. In April 2026, he introduced the Facilitating Agricultural Regulatory Modernization Act, or FARM Act, which aims to expedite the approval process for essential agricultural products by recognizing standards from trusted international jurisdictions. Prior to his political career, Bexte worked as a farmer and as an energy executive at Schlumberger Canada.
