David M. Gallegos is an American politician serving as a member of the New Mexico Senate representing the 41st district. Before his election to the Senate in 2020, he served in the New Mexico House of Representatives and spent 21 years as a member of the Eunice School Board. Gallegos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of the Southwest. In his current legislative capacity, he serves on the Senate Conservation Committee and the Senate Health and Public Affairs Committee.
