David Honeyford is a Northern Irish politician serving as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for Lagan Valley since 2022. Before his election to the Assembly, he served as a councillor for Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council from 2019 to 2022. A member of the Alliance Party, Honeyford acts as the party's spokesperson for the economy, energy, trade, and investment, and chairs the Stormont All Party Group for Sport. Prior to his political career, he worked in the construction industry for 25 years.
