David Samzun

David Samzun is a French politician currently serving as the Mayor of Saint-Nazaire, a position he has held since 2014. Affiliated with the Socialist Party, he also serves as the President of the Saint-Nazaire Agglomeration (CARENE). Throughout his tenure, he has focused on urban development, the modernization of the port infrastructure, and the promotion of renewable energy projects, including the development of offshore wind farms. He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Nantes and continues to lead local initiatives aimed at economic and social growth in the Loire-Atlantique region.
