Daya Shankar Singh

Daya Shankar Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the 18th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh, representing the Ballia Nagar constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he also holds the position of state vice-president for the party. Singh began his political career in student union elections at Lucknow University and previously served as the Minister of Transport in the Uttar Pradesh government. He is a lawyer and businessperson by profession, holding a Master of Arts in Medieval History from Lucknow University.
